ADDIS 1.16.7

15 Jul 2016 — Gert van Valkenhoef

Today we announce a new version of ADDIS 1, ADDIS 1.16.7. ADDIS 1 is our old desktop application, and is no longer being actively developed.

This release adds the ability to export datasets to ADDIS 2. An API key is needed to do this, contact us (info@drugis.org) to obtain one for your account; make sure the e-mail address you contact us from matches the e-mail address of the Google account you use to log in to ADDIS.

ADDIS 2 release 9

29 Jun 2016 — Daan Reid

We are proud to announce the ninth preview version of our web-based redevelopment of ADDIS, ADDIS 2 release 9. This release contains the following new features:

  • Definition of complex interventions (demo video)
  • Allow import of studies directly from clinicaltrials.gov (demo video)
  • Report view of project, and allow editing of mistakes with titles (demo video)

The focus of the next release will be divided between three subjects:

  • Sensitivity analysis
  • Assessing bias
  • Direct comparisons between models

We also plan to address several usability and stability issues.

ADDIS 2 release 8

23 Mar 2016 — Daan Reid

We are proud to announce the eighth preview version of our web-based redevelopment of ADDIS, ADDIS 2 release 8. This release contains the following new features:

  • Integrate data management (formerly “trialverse”) into the main ADDIS system (demo video)
  • Network meta-regression analyses (demo video)
  • Downweighting of studies, e.g. non-randomized studies (demo video)
  • Benefit-risk analyses based on meta-analyses (demo video)

The focus of the next release will be divided between three subjects:

  • Definition of concepts such as interventions, e.g. dosage restrictions and combination treatments
  • Importing studies from ClinicalTrials.gov
  • Automatic report generation based on ADDIS projects

GeMTC R package 0.8

01 Mar 2016 — Gert van Valkenhoef

We are proud to announce version 0.8 of our R package for network meta-analysis, GeMTC.

This new version adds support for network meta-regression models and models where some evidence (e.g. observation data) is down-weighted. See GeMTC on CRAN for more information.

ADDIS 2 release 7

27 Nov 2015 — Daan Reid

We are proud to announce the seventh preview version of our web-based redevelopment of ADDIS, ADDIS 2 release 7. This release had several themes. First, we performed user testing for both GeMTC-web and Trialverse. Second, we expanded the network meta-analysis functionality of ADDIS, which is also available as a separate web-application at GeMTC-web. Third, we expanded the study management functionality of Trialverse with search and copying. Fourth, we addressed the most common concerns of our test users.

Release 7 contains the following new features:

  • GeMTC:
    • Inline help for all terminology, along with a brief user’s manual.
    • Allow model run length extension.
    • Allow specification of heterogeneity prior.
    • An overview screen for nodesplitting analysis of inconsistency.
    • Several improvements to the user interface based on user feedback.
  • Trialverse:
    • Study search.
    • Allow copying of others’ studies to own datasets.

The functionality developed in release 7 is showcased in these videos:

The focus of the next release will be divided between three subjects:

  • Further improvements to the evidence synthesis functionality, including the addition of network meta-regression models.
  • Improving the integration between the ADDIS and Trialverse components.
  • Further user testing of the evidence synthesis functionality.
